Milk Wood #2: Katharina Marszewski
Oct 07 - 23, 2010

Exile and Charlotte Desaga are pleased to announce the second part of the joint exhibition project Milk Wood.
After the initial exhibition in Cologne with Nie Pastille and Carola Deye, Milk Wood #2 now presents the artists Katharina Marszewski and Bernadette Mittrup with new works in Berlin.

Katharina Marszewski's usually multi-part artworks often consist of works on paper in various mediums that are combined with found or created objects. Marszewski develops subjective arrangements which function as a kind of storyboard for possible meaning and interpretation.

Bernadette Mittrup extends painting through unusual materials and presentations to object-like works. She works with collage, large scale drawing and painting, mainly in gouache and oil on paper. Systematically, she explores in her work the border between abstraction and figuration.
